Yesterday I had a blast! Kimmi got together two of her friends, Dustin and Ethan, to take us out 4 wheeling. We drove their pickups out to this sand dune like place along the river with tons of trails and jumps for 4 wheeling. Unloading their 4 wheelers Kimmi and I hopped on the back of them and we took off.

At one point Kimmi and Dustin (the first very attractive boy I have actually seen here in Nebraska) got stuck in the mud and couldn’t get their 4 wheeler out, so we all climbed out and got it out. They ended up being covered with sandy mud from head to toe, so we all decided that a dip in the river was needed. We drove out to the river and all jumped in with our clothes on and swam around for a good 20 minutes wrestling in the river and attempting to clean all the sand off. I can’t wait to go again…hopefully with this Dustin guy.

On the way home to my apartment I got a call from Kimmi’s cowboy friend Max, he wanted me to come over and hang out with his roommate. So I took a shower and turned around and went out there. I am more then happy to have tons of people to hang out with. His old college roommate kinda new how to swing dance so as we were driving down a back country road we stopped, turned up the music in the truck and danced outside, but he really wasn’t a good dancer and he only knew one move…it was more me teaching him how to do different moves then anything else. Back at Max’s house I met his other roommate and we actually talked for a couple hours. He is probably the most down to earth person I have ever met in my entire life. I like just listening and questioning people’s lifestyles here because they are so different. His family all worked for the railroad, he didn’t want to so he left to work on a ranch. Very interesting guy, I ended up going to bed at 2:30, then got an hour of sleep beforeĀ I had to wake up for work.

And mom, just so you know…the more I hang out with cowboys, the more reasons I find not to marry one. Sorry to disappoint you, but I will not be the next pioneer woman. As much as I like horses, there is no way I can put up with a cowboy for the rest of my life. No thanks.

I am headed to my manager’s parents 50th anniversary party this weekend. We are staying at a bed and breakfast so that should be fun. Love ya’all!
